Cat Furniture Article - Simple Design, Excellent Style
Spending time with my cats inside their thirty-five foot cat enclosure is much more enjoyable lately. Recently, we have added to the enclosure a Cat Activity Center from Feline Furniture. This prime piece of property was quickly claimed by my sixteen cats even before it was fully together!
One of the features of the Cat Activity Center is that true to its name, it keeps my cats captivated for hours at a time. The little ones, not yet brave enough to advance into the heights of the unit, play tag contentedly down below, while the adult cats lounge or play above. Plastic connectors of various types are provided to join the carpeted, reinforced cardboard tubing. These provide the overhead platforms along with soft fleece hammocks and a fleece-lined cat condo, allowing a place for the cats to rest after they have enjoyed their aerobic workout.
At the highest point of the Cat Activity Center sits my most dominant kitty, Mateuse. In a multi-cat household, alpha tendencies come into play quite often. Occasionally from that high point, a skirmish will ensue as Oliver, India or Mercedes try to oust the leader. But the skirmishes (though often moderately startling) are never dangerous. Cats have their own form of hierarchy.
Within the unique design of the Cat Activity Center is the option for you, the consumer,
to re-design it to your specifications. Assembled within minutes, without the use of tools
(other than a small hammer to help apply proper pressure) you can construct the unit to fit
the proportions of the room. You can go taller, wider, or longer. The unit is built on the
concept of toys of long-ago; Lincoln Logs, erector sets and Tinker Toys.
Fully assembled, the unit is easy to move and handle.
Besides being versatile, when compared to other cat condos on the market, this unit is very affordable. You can begin your unit for under $100.00 with the Starter Kit, the base in which to build your condo or cat activity center sculpting it to your preference. It is clear that with The Feline Furniture Company their ultimate goal is one of purr-fection, a goal which they have achieved!
